Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

If you are taking an airmen knowledge exam, you can use a copy of the knowledge testing supplement during the exam.  For the remote pilot knowledge exam, you will use the “Airman Knowledge Testing Supplement for Sport Pilot, Recreational Pilot, and Private Pilot,” which provides pictures, graphs, instruments, etc., referenced in the exam with certain questions.

But did you know this supplement can HELP you pass the exam?

The FAA keeps the latest knowledge supplements at this link. https://www.faa.gov/training_testing/testing/supplements Head over to this link and find the “Airman Knowledge Testing Supplement for Sport Pilot, Recreational Pilot, and Private Pilot”.

Up in the front part of this supplement is an entire legend helping you decode all of those funny-looking symbols on the aeronautical chart. YES! It tells you a lot of the information you can use to answer the questions on the exam.  The supplement also has a legend on how to decode the chart supplement entries.
